about

I have created an organic music system that takes random data and converts it into music. The system performs itself, will play for eternity if left on, and will never repeat the same sounds twice.

There is something to be said about the ethereal nature my work has taken on through this process; through the disorder and chaos of randomized synthetic technology, I have created an organic life form that understands the order and poetry of human emotion.

This album is a recording of "Sleeping Dragon" running by itself without human intervention for 45 minutes. The piece was originally composed as an installation for Xavier Medina's illustration showcase "ATELO" on May 19th, 2012 at Little Beast Gallery located in Savannah, Georgia.

UPDATE: Sleeping Dragon has been adapted to a standalone application with an entirely new audio engine (download link in video description):
