dharmalogos Ross has expanded his compositional style and created his most song-like music. At the surface level this album sounds like mellow vaporwave with a bit of EDM thrown in, but Ross approaches it more like a classical composer. He gives you a strong thematic melody that you can sing along, and then he spends the rest of the track deconstructing it and subtracting it, leaving the listener guessing in a slight state of uneasy anticipation. Well done.
